Evanesence is just a pop culture blip. Their 15 minutes of fame is over and they'll go back to obscurity where they belong.

Seriously, Evanesence is fronted by a pop singer and backed by a rap metal band. They're technically weak and resort to cheep tricks to gain popularity.

Epica is goth metal fronted by an opera singer. They're exceedingly talented, and have a cult following more loyal than any Evanesence could hope to have.

i really love Epica, and this video too (except for the cross-eyed guy - it always makes me laugh when i see him!)
