My review of 3 excellent O-scale freight cars from Atlas O. We've got the Master series 3-Bay Cylindrical Hopper, the Master series 17,600 Gallon Corn Syrup Tank Car, and finally we've got the Trainman 40' Plug Door Box Car. 3 great cars! Get these cars at www.atlaso.com. More video at www.ericstrains.com

  • Thank You Eric, I thought so, but did not see any Master Series cars when I was there on Thursday. They must be in between shipments.........

  • @DJW701 He stocks some Atlas stuff, but not a huge amount. But he's a dealer, so you can pre-order through him.

  • Good Day Eric, I was wondering is their a train store in GA that stock a lot of Atlas Master Series cars?

  • @DJW701 Legacy Station is an Atlas dealer.

  • Wow even made it to the Atlas Facebook page!

  • @MrRailroadrunner Yep. :)

  • I believe Atlas O and Lionel use the same mold for their cylindrical hoppers. I have a couple of Lionel cylindrical hoppers and I recently purchased an Atlas O cylindrical hopper to compare the two. I can't find any differences between the manufacturers on the body of the cylindrical hoppers themselves.

  • In my opinion, Atlas O makes the best quality freight cars for O Scale. My favorites are the Gunderson Husky Stacks, Trinity 5161 cu. Covered Hoppers, Cylindrical Hoppers, Horizon cars and more. Their detailing is superior. Plus, I agree that the master series for whether its locomotives or rolling stock, they all are nicely scaled.

  • Thanks for the review Eric

  • Another great review Eric!

  • WoW ! Great Review... I like the Atlas Cars.. thanks for sharing...

  • @fatzGeronimo For 2-Rail Operation the couplers are more true to scale and mounted like real railroad equipment.
