Kalaallit Nunaata Radioa (KNR) from Greenland on shortwave 3815 kHz (USB) received in Germany on 8 January 2010 at 21:08 UTC. Receiver: Sangean ATS-909 with 30 meter longwire antenna. Distance: 3002 km.
Programmes of the Greenlandic public broadcaster are relayed daily at 21:00-22:15 UTC via a 200 watt SSB transmitter at Tasiilaq on Greenland's east coast to serve fishermen on sea. The transmitter is operated by the coastal station Ammassalik Radio.
Due to strong local interference in my apartment I had to go outdoors to realize this catch. With 20 cm snow, heavy wind and -4 degrees Celsius I got an authentic Arctic feeling. ;-)
Maybe you will succeed some day. ;-)

It is never received.
But in Japan is very difficult.
I want to receive it only once. :)

As you can read in the info column on the right side, I received the station at 21:08 UTC. ;-) Greetings and good luck with your DX endeavour.
