Funny how some things never leave you. Everytime I hear this song I am a teenager again and get that odd sensation in my stomach. I was so enraptured by this movie as sappy and overly dramatic as I now know it to be...I guess it is just a jealous pleasure that something can bring back that sensation of excitement, the hope that someone would love me and life would be a fun adventue. Sad to say in my 65 years I have been disappointed on all counts. Wish I knew why.

This song just tears me up. It makes me wish I could have fallen in love in 1959...

Whew! I grew up with this. I still have the LP. My mother liked the music as well.

@larry19521 I went to Japan in January of 1960 in the USAF. This movie was playing at Misawa Air Base's Theatre...and because the whole area was buried in snow, we saw it many times...thanks for reminding me.

I fell in love with this movie and the music in the middle 1960's and never tire hearing this beautiful rendition by Percy Faith, who is the best known for this music.

Zero dislikes.
I am really old. I remember when they dealt with issues like a girl's virginity in code words (as in this movie) and pretty boys like Tab Hunter, James Dean (and Rock Hunter) were still straight. And the Jersey Shore was not infested with Guidos and Guidettes. Like Archie Bunker said, those were the days.
