U2 perform (well, at least play along to a largley prerecorded) Vertigo and Where The Streets Have No Name a few weeks back at the Cannes Film Festival in France where the "U23D" film was premiered.

there's no more pre-recorded parts in this performance than at their regular live shows... and lots of timing fluff to prove it.. but i was surprised how similar a guitar sound he gets with the LP compared to the strat he usually uses.. not a lot of difference at all... a lot of it's in those herdim pics i think..

Well at least for streets he wouldnt need much more. The AC30, modulated delay (=a cheap pod) and some herdim plecks would be enought for him to create the streets sound where 90% wouldnt even notice a large difference.
