Look, theft is when someone takes something from you without your explicit permission; the fact that the car was unlocked with the keys inside is irrelevant.

yes its a fake, because they took the camera off of the "ghostrider" and made a point to look at the random guy walking down the road. the best part is they thought it'd be best if they made the hijacker black just to try to make it more believable hahaha.
