Let's put one in your backyard without a radiation shield of any kind. Or better yet, we'll put you in a rocket and send you into the sun. Fusion would be a great energy source, but that doesn't mean it isn't dangerous. Don't try to distract people from the point, please.

These countries are going to benefit from a huge sum of money, that is going to be dealt out by taxes, and carbon credits market. These countries that are involved on this band wagon stand to make huge gains over countries less fortunate countries. Which these policies forbid them to use their own natural resources to progress. Causing expensive and inefficient means of energy to be pushed on to poor nations and entire continents like Africa. There are hundreds of articles on this matter.

So, I am not certain no mistake is being made. I am certain only of the possibility that APG is occuring, and of the general scientific consensus, even if it is far from a perfect one. There are always dissenters, though. There are (somewhat) respected scientists who claim that HIV does not cause AIDS, and many other scientists who claim equally absurd things (though usually not within their own fields).

Science is always tentative. This is not evidence of a flaw in AGW science.

Wow, you really ARE that stupid.

I know you dumbshits HATE to be flummoxed by facts and truth, but if it's FACTS you're after...

THEN GO READ SOME.

There is NO shortage of REAL evidence affirming global warming.

But there is NONE that successfully denies the science.

97% of the world's active climate scientists affirm that global warming is real... but you believe the 3% minority.

Absolute, unmitigated idiocy.

CO2 is a greenhouse gas; this fact is not disputed by anyone but the most pitifully ignorant. We're adding CO2 to our environment. It doesn't take a genius to understand this is a potentially harmful activity. Unfortunately, our planet's mechanisms for warming and cooling are many and all are very complex, often interacting on one another. It's damn difficult to be certain a mistake is not being made in the models that we use to make predictions.

Are you suggesting that if you build a greenhouse and notice its tendency to stay warmer than the outside temperature, you should not expect another greenhouse you build to do the same? Of course one example is only one example, not a pattern. That is why we use experiments to determine the mechanisms by which these tendencies occur and how. When we understand what is happening, we can predict what will happen; that is what science is.

You're an idiot for thinking I am brainwashed by an industry I don't particularly pay attention to. I can think for myself, which is more than I can say for you. And also, there is NOT a consensus over GW. Even scientists within th IPCC, NASA and the NOAA are speaking out against it. ACTUAL FACT that can be verified. Now, pretend you're looking it up, then come back with another insult.

Knowing that industry will do virtually ANYTHING to preserve their bottom line is "see(ing) a conspiracy?"

Exxon has pumped AT LEAST 16 MILLION DOLLARS into flat earth skeptic groups since 1997.

That's the number we KNOW about.

And that is a "conspiracy?"

Try again, you dumb baboon.

There you go with that oil industry crap again. Are you in bed with Exiles800? I've seen some of his posts on other threads. He sees a conspiracy around every corner. He's a suitable case for treatment, and based on your recent comments, I'm starting to think you may be one, too.

@TritonAlias With the hope to find common ground, I think we can both agree it is a weak argument. The truth is, as humanity continues to grow in many ways, we are finding out how little we know about our planet and to start comparing other planets to ours for the sake to win a debate, gives the appearance the global warming debate has gone lame and rather outlandish. Or shall I say "out of this world.". Simpleton you say? I say nay to my opposition.
