@PushingPies It's a really bad ending.Makes no sense.

I lost it when he hit the kid. That was such a relief I almost got up and cheered xD (not that I condone violence of any kind, but fuck it it's a TV show) That wife of his is sincerely awful. She never compromises about anything and she's never on his side, it's always about what she wants...

This show is way to corny for Dylan
-
If he left her to live his own life the show would be ruined! all the tension and comedy is driven by his interaction with "country" folk. Besides he doesn't express any desire to travel the world or be a doctor or some shit, so even thought many of us wouldn't stand for any of this shit mabye hes content, kinda of.

So she's pissed at him because he hit the kid but when he full on slaps him one she's all "take my hand, let's be cheesy"?

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this show available. As an American with a newly discovered Dylan Moran obsession this is a little gem.
The funny thing is, this show kind of represents my worst nightmare. I mean I guess if you love someone enough, you can suffer through anything for/with them. Which is really the beauty of the writing here. But honestly...have some self-respect, man!

I got interested in Dylan Moran because I love "Black Books." Even for an american like me, I loved that show. Finding "How do you want me" on YouTube not only let me see Mr. Moran in a different character but also allowed me to see some English perspectives. Other than that, I love to hate the brother in law. He's such an ass. What a great character because while he's doing such nasty things to the main character, he's still family?! Interesting. I hope eventually he gets a good thrashing. :)

This show is disturbing

That ending sucked. Everyone who watches it wants him to leave. Give the people what they want!
He needs to break free and live the life he deserves. Not holed up with these banal, hypocritical, conservative twats. If she really loved him she wouldn't force him to suffer mercilessly. There's no way i would stand for that.
Yes, i do realise I'm looking into this a tad too much but it really does angers me. Shame because I had high hopes for this programme.

I thought I had, but I suppose not.
It doesn't make sense to me, giving up having a life you're interested in having, doing something you like doing, giving up on living a life you want to life just because you want to stay with somebody.
Sure, the hormones direct you, telling you that you can't live without that person cuddled up next to you or whatever, but...
Guh, there's so much more to life than that.
