The Matzo balls look divine--Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with us. Best wishes, Reshma.

Wow, that chicken broth is the perfect shade of golden yellow. I've never made home made chicken stock before. Very impressive.

It's just boiled flour and egg in chicken stock.. I actually used soda crackers instead of matzo meal.. just have to crush it really fine.. i am genius. Also, adding garlic salt when boiling the balls adds tons of flavour

You have been blessed to have her as an Oma! OmaGOD! :o) I'm a new convert and looking for a good soup for Pesah. I've found it with your Oma!
Happy Pesah.... I love your mother!

Thank you so much for your warm comment. Unfortunately this was my mother's last Passover. She passed away a little over two years ago. She remains in our hearts and in our kitchens; my son is a culinary school graduate and has his grandmother to thank, in part, for developing such an interest in food. He is the young man at the Seder
Do you have to freeze the Matzo Balls or was that because she wanted to wait?

Unfortunately, Mrs. Igdaloff has passed on since the video was made, so I cannot get a direct answer. It is my sense that freezing was a matter of convenience. However, many old recipes work for the strangest reasons. Many people make recipes as written and do not get the same results as the author. You can experiment and decide for yourself whether to freeze them.
