The Count was some sort of dumbass: His Ship exploded around him and the last thing he did before dying was screaming for his subordinate. I bet Sultaan split town just a minute before the Explosion, thinking "Fuck it. I'm outta here."

Joe Spinell as Count Zarth Arn represents the highwatermark of overacting, a benchmark every Actor who tries to chew the scenery has to compare to. To be honest, no one reached it - John Travolta as Terl came pretty close, though. ;)

@Poncho85CA - I hope your not suggesting that Europeans don't know the laws and physics of space? You will find that this film is an USA/Italian effort. Also I am a Star Wars fan, I have all six films but I know that has faults. Like during space scenes you will hear sound effects such as explosions and laser firing effects but in reality you would hear nothing. Sometimes you need to defy the laws and physics of space on film.
