  • UNION PRIDE!!! all the non union rats who go union bashing can remember this!!! You may run around like a madman, trying to showoff to your RAT boss, til you get hurt. And, also, you may be getting a good chunk of change in your check, before you have to take out for your insurance. But as long as you stay RAT-proud, there will be plenty of illegals learning your trade, who will work as hard for $7 an hour, and when he falls and dies, your boss digs a hole, throws em in and finds another!!!!!!!!

  • @IRONSEAN7 the boss doesn't dig the hole...the next scab does.

  • It's not just the ratboys, it's safety. When you got to fill out an explaination of every you do, you are just training them.

When I started in this business (22 yrs) contractors would say, "I'm not running a training school".. Well guess what, me neither.

I might "get out" BUT I WILL ALWAYS RESPECT the work these guys do!

  • Great video, much respect from IW. Local 378, Union Pride Forever!

  • I am soo proud to be an ironworker! I had just about lost my love for it all until 9/11 the day the WTC -World Trade Center-came down after being attacked. After all that was said and done EVERY Ironhead from everywhere and all walks of life came to the rescue. You did not have to tell us what to do, we were there johnny on the spot!!! I was an apprentice @ the time, first year, Savannah,GA(Local 709),gotten filled up with so much pride. I am a NYer too...so I wanted to be the best I can be!

  • Been a union Iromworker since 1979 back then if you could'nt get it you could'nt stay! and I'll be a union Ironworker until the day I die.

I have worked with some of the best men in the world and I'm proud to call them my BROTHERS

  • Have been a Union Ironworker since 1981. After being Airborne while in the Army. Just needed that adrenaline fix everyday. Being a structural ironworker gave me that. Worked non union for five years before joining the Ironworkers Union. Thought I knew it all. My Union brothers taught me more than I would ever learn on a non union job. Taught apprentice's for six years, made more friends across the country than I can count. Thanks bros. No hate to the non uinon guys. Brotherhood helps us all.

  • Dam proud to be a Ironworker!
