Wizarding Law & Order

JKR says that our intrepid Trio joined the Ministry of Magic. Harry and Ron as Aurors and Hermione in the Dept. of Magical Law. That instantly made me think Law & Order. Although I have never seen an episode of the show, I have watched the opening credits a few times. I hope this is a reasonable facsimile. It's not particularly exciting and I daresay it's only of interest to those who eat and sleep Potter.
