@Cormalek I have an Xterra 4x4 that does 0-60 in 6 seconds :P A lot of the people who are antiGlock are old skool heads that don't care for polymer, a lot who grew up with 1911s and revolvers that were all American steel and carefully carved walnut grips. There is something to be admired about pistols like that, and there are plenty still made, but most people would rather spend $500 on a Glock than $900 on a Smith, $1100 on a Kimber, $1400 on a Colt, $2000 on a Wilson Combat, etc.

Glocks are awesome, but they were designed and are sustained primarily as service guns. There are various ways why they're not perfect for civilian use: they are not even supposed to feed properly with weak ammu, lightness is more important for a person with loads of tac gear and not so much for CC/negligible for range gun, they have a bigger kick due to beaing lightweight etc
Most people whining about glocks are the people who'd buy a 4x4 and whine it does not accelerate as well as a musce car.

Wow! Really hot reloads!

@kenfo0, I'm sure that those who have experienced case ruptures into the magazine wells of their Glocks, are comforted to know that it hasn't happened to you. Yet.
A gunshop owner told you a Glock was "Great"? This was while he was trying to sell it to you, right? If you believe a "gunshop owner" has more credibility than a Used Car Salesman, you're naive, moron.
If every defective mechanism ever produced, failed catastrophically, there would be no point to "recalls". Some do, some don't

@InfidelArmee dumbass: I told you to zip it. You clearly cannot read properly, nor think correctly. The fact some jackass SAYS the cause is the glock does not make it so. Local police carry .40 glocks. They are not "dumping" anything, little boy. Again, dumbass, if the pistols are all defective (your faggoty, nonsensical claim), then how is it that every person I know has fired them hundreds of times w/o incident? A gunshop owner yesterday noted "great guns!" (g29). Now f-off.

@TheLonesometurd, That doesn't mean Glocks are Safe, dillweed.
-
@InfidelArmee Yeah, that's why our military AND 87% of law enforcement across the country use Glock. That's how bad they are...................dumbass.
-
@kenfo0, This video is about a Case Rupture in a Glock, moron.
I don't think this guy cares much about how many rounds You've put through Your Glock.
Recoil Spring Recall? Law Enforcement departments dumping Glock .40S&W's on the civilian market?
Because Glocks are "Perfection", right?

@InfidelArmee lol....what a pathetic post, displaying what is wrong with America today, jackass. "ifn ewe doughnt uhgree wif mee, yur dumm an doughnt no whut shoret recall iz". grow up you dolt. Learn to read normal English, you idiot: i've put THOUSANDS of rounds through glocks without incident, nor have I ever witnessed or heard about a glock malfunction from the many people I work and shoot with. You, being a typical "kb commando" "know" differently. Zip it, nancy.
Glocks are Unsafe. Watch "Zach blows out a Glock 19".
Note how much flame is coming from the ejection port.
It's Not, supposed to do that.

@InfidelArmee using bad ammo is unsafe*

@iloveguns1990, That is true.
But, the ammo Isn't what caused that failure.
Short Recoil, can be, too short. On Glocks, it's WAY too short.
