hello, I was able to rewire my Casio SA-21 into H.I.D. and then into a USB cable so that ableton reads it, but for some reason, FL won't read it, I've tried setting the preferences to enable the device, but it's not even reading that it exist.
But Ableton found it right away. is this an H.I.D. problem or a problem with how it's wired to the USB cable? or is this a software problem?
i figured i'd get some opinions first before i take it all apart.

hi man. great idea...heres my idea im going to buy a cheapo midi keyboard and connect transducers to the key connections, and make my own drum pads with the transducers...that way i can make a full midi kit, touch sensitive too.....i thought you were going to have a similar idea..attaching a serial socket for pads too...just an idea...would be a brilliant mod for yours......cheers rob.

Pretty cool idea. I've recently got into ableton (why i didn't a long time ago i don't know) and have a couple of old midi controler keyboards knocking about so i reckon i'll be ripping one apart in the near future.

Hi. This video is great. Ei, I have a CME VX6 that was bricked. I was thinking of customizing it, i mean, take the board out and rplace it with a custom board. you think it's possible or I'm ust being ambitious? :)

@vampirehans01 Well, if it's all mechanical work then maybe you could pull off the job with the right tools, but if it involves rewiring schematics, programming, etc... then I don't know

hey good job man!
i have question: can i replace buttons with Potentiometers? for ex. to map my controler knobs to panning knob in ableton? will it work??

@EitB91 Hi. If you're going to use an Evolution e-Keys circuit or similar then you can't because it is only meant for on/off switching.

Were you planning on making a video that shows this controller ACTUALLY being used?

I wasn't really planning, but I could make one, it's not much, just using midi map in Live to map the buttons on the controller to the mixer in Live.
