No. The Rockmaster can sound similar, thsi is probably as similar as it gets, but the Rockmaster is from the same family as the Peavey 3120, Triple XXX, and Ultra/Ultra Plus. If you get to hear/play one of those you'll hav ea good idea of how this thing sounds.
so you can run this through a regular tube combo amp if you put it through the effects loop correct? i'm thinking about buying one of these to use with my peavey valveking for metal- the valveking can't do metal well.
Hey Bro, what power amp you're running this rockmaster? and tell me the SD-1 are in the effects loops? or after guitar? could you tell me your settings? i've the rockmaster with the peavey 50/50 sound also awsome...
SD-1 w level on max, drive on zero, tone at 10 o clock in front of the amp to give me a little more compression and gain without having to use the pulled gain boost. Gain is around 4-5 o'clock (not pulled). Settings were if I can recall something like bass at 2 o' clock, mids at 11 o'clock (pulled), and treble at noon. Not too far from its normal voicing, really. I had it running through Classic 120 power amp.
Hey nice cover! want to ask is the Rockmaster in the same line as the 5150? just as much gain? like a 5150 in a preamp format?
Thanks!
