The music WORKS now!! Yay for YT!! :D
On May 29 - 31, Mika and I competed at the 2009 AAC Ontario Regional Agility Championships. The AAC Regionals are the "stepping stones" to the AAC Nationals...if you get 350 points at Regionals, you qualify for Nationals.
Mika and I had a blast at Regionals!
Friday
Warm-Up Game
Contacts were SUPER slippery so only did tunnels. Mika was a bit slow because the grass was so slippery.
Saturday
Standard #1
Two off-courses (A-frame, dog walk) that I wasn't expecting. Didn't call her enough. She was fast though! I couldn't front cross as planned at the because I was behind her at the DW and the tunnel after the DW, and then I forgot to FC in another place too...as they say, great dog, shame about the handler!
Jumpers #1
Clean run!!! We were so connected! Very flowing. And I remembered to call her! I got all my FC's and RC's in. Mika read me perfectly. This was a beautiful run, and it would have been our first Masters Q if it were a real trial (you can't get Q's for titles at Regionals, you can only qualify for Nationals).
Gamblers #1
Didn't hear the gamble buzzer so we lost tons of time. (A few other people didn't hear it either, it was hard to hear with all the noise, but I think they made it louder the next day.) ALMOST got the gamble!
We had so much fun!!
Also, Ashley came for a visit all the way from Florida, yayy! Thanks Ashley!!
I'll upload Part 2 on Monday probably. In Part 2, our runs are a LOT better :) As they say...GREAT dog, shame about the handler!
~Nat and Mika
Wow! Awesome stuff! Wall E's Bday, fun runs, and crazy barking! I like her bark :) It's not "Schnauzer Like", if you know what I mean. Mika's is high pitched and cute :) haha! Glad you had such a great time! I still am waiting to enter my FIRST trial =D

Thanks Brooke! :D lol, yeah, Mika's bark is really high-pitched! Most people finds it annoying, but I find it very cute too :) Well really, I find everything about Mika cute... o.O
You'll do great when you enter your first trial -- schnauzers ROCK!
