My first composition of 2010! I composed SR388 last year using GarageBand. Now that I've gotten used to Logic Studio, I've given it a proper go. I've made in the style of a groovy techno beat. The song is to be used in a tutorial, or a menu of some sort.

I apologize for not uploading anything in a long time. I've been very busy with several things:

I've been busy with work with the holiday rush. My schedule is finally calming down a bit, so I have a bit of free time; I have recently purchased a Korg M3, which is a Keyboard Workstation. It really opens up my options in composing, but like all music, is very complicated, and will take me a little time to get used to. I do have a solo piano piece on the way, once I have the recording equipment up and ready; Finally, I have been taking a break. I have come to own a Playstation 3, and have sat down to enjoy some games, such as WipEout HD.

Do not fear, I am still working hard on music. I am unsure when my next mix will come in, as I have been lacking inspiration. I am sure the Korg will give me a few ideas though. I also plan on uploading some of my 2009 "Concept" pieces: Songs that I started to work on, but never finished.

This was made for the project "Metroid: Net Mission", which is a fangame. It's a 2D Metroid game, where you can select one of the many characters in the Metroid universe, and then battle it out with other players online. Currently, the physics engine is being worked on, and the game has a little while to go before being complete, but it's getting there.

  • Doubt you'd do it, but I'm an extreme audiophile, and I was wondering if it's possible to get a FLAC/WAV version of this perhaps? Thank you ever so much if you oblige.

  • @MoldyPond I do plan on releasing all my work in a lossless format, once the project has been released.

  • Good, but it doesn't really have that same perky feel it gave to me.

  • @iPodDude21 I wasn't aiming for that in this mix. I was aiming for a "chilled" mix.

  • YEA!

    TOO KOO!

(so glad i got my utube downloader!!!)8<D

  • @googletoper ...umm, click on "More Information", and click on the download link.

  • My english is not good enough to explain how great this track is :)

  • Great tune man. Kinda gives a feel of exploration, though more for an overworld setting like Tallon Overworld or Aether Temple Grounds than in an underground setting. I like it very much. ^^

  • Gorgeous. Love it. Caputres the real feeling of that part of the game. Well done :)

  • @DaDude261 Wonderful :D

  • @deathrooster14 AMR2 uses an engine built buy the guy making it. It just looks, and more or less plays the same as MZM/MF.

  • @ZeldaDD AM2R uses the Fusion/ZeroMission engine. And he's almost done. :D

  • The Synth style really fits this song.

  • The download link died.
