There were plenty of people who doubted Mercedes-Benz' ability to successfully combine the looks and drivability of a coupé with the practicality of a saloon. They shouldn't have done... The CLS didn't just impress all those who saw it, it inspired an entire new class of rival and copycat cars, including the Audi A5 Sportback, the Audi A7 Sportback and the Volkswagen Passat CC.

This is the second generation of the car. It gets an even bolder design and totally new range of engines.

  • @MusicGuySK Unfortunately that is the goddamn truth.

  • I bet everyone one of us are desperate to win the lottery

  • I feel bad watching these videos because I drive a 2006 Toyota Yaris :'(

But.. I still watch videos like this everyday!

  • @swagastaunite *99% only 1% can

  • I know that electronic parking brakes seem nice and upmarket, but I'd much rather have a traditional hand or foot operated mechanical one. I would feel far more comfortable leaving my car in the care of a clamp on the wheels safe in the knowledge that I applied enough force to said clamp to keep it from rolling off. Not only that, Mercedes are known for simple reliablity, and that's one less gimmick to break. Well done, MB.

  • time to play lottery again

  • did he say grocers 0:37 ? Omg, you buy a car for this MONEY and throw some tomtoes and potatoes in a trunk?;/ Im not sure about UK but I dont see a lot people that drive such expencive cars and go shopping for edible supplies

  • @Robber323 swaga is talking about being able to afford the car right now. not in a million years when it is outdated and the price has depreciated... allot

  • @swagastaunite more like 99% ;)

  • @swagastaunite I know that there are some less fortunate, but Mr. swagastaunite this car really is not that expensive with a base price of less than $80,000 so I ask you this. If someone were to save money for about 10-15 years and go and buy this car than even perhaps a poor person can own this car. all they would have to do is save about 5-10 thousand dollars per year. The reason this is not possible for 90% of people to afford this car is because they waste money.
