Police arrest Occupy DC protesters

At least 60 protesters were arrested today in Washington during the
Occupy DC protest, many severely beaten by police. The activists
braved the rain and cold on K street - the historical lobbying hub of
the US capital as they barricaded four key intersections. Most of the
protesters arrested were charged with blocking one of the busiest
highways in the city.

@insanelylogical, What you seem not to realize is that DC is a city of over 600,000 people who have no representation in this country. Calling an entire city (one that you clearly know nothing of) a "shithole" is incredibly ignorant. They are YOUR politicians, NOT ours. DC has not doesn't have a vote in congress. DC doesn't even have full home-rule and budget autonomy. Yet, DC pays more federal taxes per capita then any state with the exception of Connecticut.

I say at least 100,000 angry citizens should invade that shithole and physically capture, throw out and detain every single crooked politician, lobbyist and congress member while executing other scum on the spot. @bigdog92253 Yeah, I've been at Occupy DC for two month, police didn't beat anyone. DC police are much smarter than NYC police. DC has a protest practically every week, it's nothing new.

I really hate those fucking horses though, they freak out WAY too easily. We built a barn in our park, and the cops brought 3 of the horses inside while there were people in there, and one of the horses just flipped out and started kicking. We weren't even yelling or anything, just sitting. =/

@Vercetti667 If I get retrenched, as you say, I'll get a new gig because I can make money for my employers and customers. It took me alot of years to develop the talent of profitability, and I'm not the best by any means, but the key to keeping money in your pocket is putting money in the pockets of people who have more money and keeping a small piece for yourself. It's a forgotten mentality that would help many of this country's disgruntled inhabitants.
