i think shreya has the edge over sunidhi.... she can sing any love and sad song effortlessly but the item song and robust voice will always be for sunidhi....

Shreyas voice is melodious and very soft, It shows soft feminine personality. Sunidhis voice is rustic. Best for item songs. Each of them is versatile and great in their own genre. So comparison is not a good thing to do. Sunidhi cannot perform shreyas songs and shreya cannot perform sunidhis songs.

Lol.what a comparison. Sunidhi can entertain only the masses .Shreya,she can entertain both the CONNOISSEURS (mere dholna,aromale etc) and the MASSES (teri ore, chikni chameli, ye ishq hai, o lala etc).

Shreya can sing..i dont know how many languages with unbelievable ease with near perfect diction.

I can go on and on why Shreya is better..

But to be fair Shreya-Sunidhi is like tendulkar and sehwag .federer and nadal..they have contrasting style but the purist would always vote for the former!

Why this comparison? Sunidhi's way btr coz u've singers like Shreya in every decade-lataji,Anuradha Paudwal,Sadhna Sargam and even Bela Shinde sounds exactly like her. Sunidhi has a unique voice quality and is far more versatile. Ashaji has more filmfare awards than Lataji-does that make her a better singer? personally Ashaji is my favourite but awards are no yardstick to measure a person's capability. Aamir has hardly won awards,does that mean they are bad actors?Sunidhi's the best singer nw.

can sunidhi sing a song like bairi piya or mere dholana? No right also shreya wudn't be able 2 sing songs like crazy kiya re or chaliya chaliya (tashan) . so it's waste of time 2 cmpare them, they r going in 2 ways, i like them both, but whta is special in shreya is i can listen 2 her song at any time of the day, sunidhis ones r nt like dat, so i like SHREYA GHOSHAL the most

Sunidhi is awesome with her sense of music and she sang it well,,,,shreya is awsome but hav the same old voice that we do have from ancient time...such singers are always there... sunidhi has a different ting in her voice ...both are great but i like suidhi more......

Sunidhi's voice resembles that of a female donkey. The one thing good these days is that there aren't any talented music directors like Jaidev, Madan Mohan or Salil Chowdhury. Mediocre talent rules !! Bravo India !!!
