great show and opening theme! always reminds me of the 1973 NFC EASTERN DIVISION DALLAS COWBOYS (10-4), especially where ROGER STAUBACH (#12) and CLIFF HARRIS (#43) aka captain crash are concerned.

well, "there you go"......mr. vonwenk, what is one person's medicine, is anothers poison. Mccloud was one of my and many other persons, fav tv series of all time. but you disliking it so much shows that we're all different, and that variety makes us all compatable with each other. imagine how unbearable it would be if we all were exactly alike??!!

@azeleapark McCloud was the worst of the original three NBC Mystery Movie series, especially when they'd have McCloud travel to different places. I like the opening theme song with the title sequence (even though it seems redundant and a waste of time in light of the NBC Mystery Movie having a theme song), but I think Chief Clifford set a bad precedent for complaining TV cop bosses that endured until Miami Vice.
