  • haha thats my class!

  • I leave for basic at Fort Jackson, SC on Feb 8th and stay there for AIT. I am contracted for 27D (Legal Specialist). I actually had Airborne guaranteed on my contract (I am a first time enlistee, twenty years old), but lost it due to failing my airborne physical, because I couldn't properly pop my ears. It sucks but atleast I kept my MOS of choice and my enlistment bonus! : )

  • i wanna do that when i joint the army it looks exciting !

  • Yes, true. All services also instruct it. Marines are few and far between in it though, because only their elite Marine Special Operations Teams (formerly Force Recon) ever need the skill. Pretty much the same goes for Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard (USCG when serving on a SEAL Team). All branches also go to MOS schools from other services (90% of Marines are trained by Army). We're all one big (usually) happy family.

  • Looks exciting! If I were in the Army, I'd love to do that:)

  • same with sniper school

  • Neither can I, less than a year away!

  • Is it true that all branches in the US military go to the Army's Airborne School?

  • can't wait to try it
