QAI's 11th Annual International Software Testing Conference
Le Meridien, Bangalore
1-2 Dec 2011.

Testing Centers of Excellence are becoming more and more common today. However, do you know how to take your TCoE from average to world-class? In this session, James will discuss the winning formula for taking your TCoE to the next level. Understand how to sell and grow an enterprise TCoE. To "up your game," it is important to remain relevant to the business and show ongoing value and efficiency savings. Learn to examine the business aspects related to running a TCoE and how to best optimize operations. James will discuss the value levers and cost savings that can be measured by the TCoE. He will talk about the 'extra' non-testing activities required to be implemented to motivate staff, and empower rapid growth and maturity. Finally, he will reveal how to remain competitive and relevant to the organization to meet changing business priorities.

James D. Campbell, is the executive director of Tulkita Technologies Inc. Prior to co-founding Tulkita, James held IT Senior Leadership positions at Accenture Inc. and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board in Canada. Through his 12+ years of experience in IT management consulting and strategy, James has had the privilege of working with over 140 of the world's Fortune 500 companies. He is a globally recognized expert in IT Strategy, Quality Assurance, Testing and Process Improvement. James also has the necessary 'real world' experience- he launched and managed an 800+ person Testing Centre of Excellence across four countries and has completed test strategies and roadmaps for 120 organizations globally. It was through these experiences that James learned firsthand both the rewards and challenges faced by running a large test organization and acquired the knowledge of what was missing in the market today. James' experiences have led him to redefine how test organizations test and how they can become better optimized and effective while continuing to improve quality.
