Compared to the Amiga original this version has some pros and cons.
The title screen music is waaay better on the amiga, but the ingame music is much better on the Mega CD. The voice acting is totally weird :P

Awww, I see you took advantage of that glitch where the game lets you pick up the horn just before you're transported back... I was hoping someone had figured out how to get enough gold and do it the intended way :(

I guess the game is simply impossible to finish without taking advantage of that glitch, really seems like it anyway.

In any case, nice longplay :)

I tried to do it the regular way, but the hidden 6 gold coins behind the inn always killed me :(

You mean the chest you have to jump in some acid to get to? I found that one, but even with those coins... I ended up short of coins.

Are you saying you can actually find 36 coins for the snail in this version of the game? Remember that you have to actually pay 10 gold or whatever it was for the beer in this version.

If you know how to get enough coins for the snail, please tell me :o

I looked all over the place and could never find the amount of coins required.

Yes thats the one i meant, i assumed i was short on coins because i didnt pick up those - but if its still not enough then i dont know, maybe an oversight by the devs.

Also what are you doing all the time, you havent been in IRC, nor did longplays in a long time ;)

It seemed to me you still end up short of coins, even with that hidden chest.

Regarding the rest - I've been quite busy/lazy for quite a while now... kind of fell out of the habit of recording stuff. However, I have uploaded a few clips rather recently... the It Came from the Desert ones, and Road Blaster.

Meh, this version has almost no eerie atmosphere...and the voice acting is awful. Even the Genesis version is better.

The in-game music and cut scenes are excellent, but what's with the voice acting? It sounds like everyone's doing a bad Charles Martinet impression.

The movies are a nice touch, and the idea of voices are ok too but poorly executed (imo). Also who killed the atmosphere from the amiga version :p?
