TV9 - England Team Arrives in Hyderabad for ODI Series......!


The England cricket team arrived here on Tuesday for a five-match one-day series and a Twenty20 game against India.

The first one-day international is scheduled to be played here on October 14.

Officials of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) accorded a traditional welcome to the visiting team at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad on the outskirts of the city.

The Alastair Cook-led team later checked into a star hotel in the city amid tight security.

The visitors will play two practice matches against Hyderabad teams before the first one-day.

Both the warm-up matches on October 8 and October 11 will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, which will also host the one-day.

The English team will leave for Delhi on October 15 for the second match to be played on October 17.
