It was ok, she has much better songs. I think she has a good voice, it is the 'way' she sings that drives m away from being a fan, It's a shame!

@indigenous2logic Sorry, but I have to totally disagree with you!

PM Dawn has a good version too. It's always nice to be able to love an original AND to love other artists' respectful, talented, and unique spins on it as well (:)) <3

This is by far the greatest cover of this song, nothing comes even close to it. I wish however, there was a live version of it.

fantastic.

@SummerLovesPeace suppose thats true, but i think this is a good cover. Her cover of Dear Prudence is amazing too! The Beatles are the BEST!

@RcEdits I guess that's true. But there are so many bad Beatles covers out there, I'm used to not liking them, I guess... XDX

@SummerLovesPeace why the "but" in that sentence.... you say that like its disrespecting john lennon and the beatles if you like this version, which it isn't at all!

@nyyterp thats really weird i was thinking the exact same thing the other day
A very nice arrangement and interpretation of a great song. What I like about it particularly is that Alanis didn't do the proverbial gender change for the lyrics (cf, Celine Dion's cover of "Here, There and Everywhere, or even worse, Tiffany's "I Saw [Him] Standing There."). There's no need for that. I mean, really -- are we to think if a female singer does a cover of a classic love song about a woman rather than a guy, there's something more to it?
