Tom Kidd is a tremendous artist with a fantastic vision and the consummate skill to share it. Any book of his is well worth having. In an age where so many artist are spending so much time looking at eachother's work that they often begin to feel the same, he is a unique voice.

Mr. Kidd has been doing amazing illustration work for books, games, film etc. for decades. He's a golden age sort of illustrator fearlessly sharing his techniques. I'd recommend this book to anyone that wants to get better at painting and drawing and the thought processes involved, or simply fans of the best fantasy and science fiction.
