when teaching a baby sign language, always teach them the two handed method first then drop to one hand when they are older. This helps them distinguish between the two. Otherwise it will just confise them.

what's the difference between good (with one hand) and thank you - they look very similar to me and I'm not sure if I'm missing a small difference... many thanks

@pforbes71 they are very similar. A lot of it is the context you use them. Some use a more exaggerated movement outwards for 'thank you' and a smaller movement for 'good'.

@theoracleof6 they are basically the same unless you use two hands for good. People will know the meaning of the sign based on the context you use it. Just like using: two, to and to or there, they're and their, they sound the same but use them in different contexts
