Bad movie for a bad guy. Instead of securing enough land for the mongolian state he founded, he went on a gory rampage biting more than he could chew. RESULT : the conquered fought back and took everything from them. The chinese were going to exterminate them all when the Soviet Union, out of pity and the need for a buffer state, created modern Mongolia.A zombie state living on borrowed time.

It is a ridiculous movie. People like me who have been reading up and studying about him will know this is actually insulting. It seemed to suggest Borte kept sleeping with other people to save Genghis, and the worse is the part on Mongols having fear of lightning and thunder. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT? These hardened men who have been at war for years r said to fear lightning and thunder! I watched it all. MY advice- dun waste yr time...
