The film "SEVEN DEADLY SYNTHS" was completed in January of 2013. It includes 2 complete songs from Circus Mort, excerpts of a third, and commentary by 2 of the original members, Josh and Dan Braun. It also includes Alan Vega / Suicide, Sun Ra, The Units, Our Daughter's Wedding, XEX, and MINNY POPS. This clip is an excerpt of "Yellow Light" from a full concert recorded of Circus Mort who opened for Bauhaus this night. Merrill Aldighieri directed, shot & edited the film.

I am definitely preparing this film including Circus Mort. A full concert DVD depends on stronger band involvement and that is not a given. I also have quite a few excellent projects in the pipeline. If you want to organize a personal screening party hosted by me in a town near you, that would be a way to see the concert footage in the meantime. :-)

Can i ask for Circus Mort playlist from the concert?

Yes, it will be available on DVD. I have to see how many extra clips I can fit on the DVD after i finish the film. Doing this editing caused me to capture all the Circus Mort concert, so a full concert edit will be much easier to do. After I see how this film goes I will have more ideas about releasing any full concerts. Thanks for your encouragement.

I'm working on it right now. I will have one version with 2 Circus Mort Songs, interviews with 2 members, and songs and interviews with Alan Vega, Scott Simon, and others, plus music from Suicide, The Units, Sun Ra, Our Daughter's Wedding, XEX, Minny Pops & Circus Mort Should be done in a week or 2..

Would be great to have a look at this video! Unfortunately i´ve never seen Circus mort live. Just Swans few Years later.
