The Afternoon Show, RTÉ's live flagship daytime programme, started in 2002. It is presented by Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh and Sheana Keane. Full of the lifestyle nuggets which make daytime television so popular such as cookery, fashion, health, fitness, parenting, life-coaching and celebrity gossip. The first show broke new ground as it featured Dr. Patrick Treacy of the award winning Ailesbury Clinic Dublin injecting Botox on live television. The Afternoon Show is a Green Inc Film & Television production for RTÉ.

Ah yes, the character was that of the sad clown, pining for love of Columbine, who inevitably broke his heart and left him for Harlequin but that was in the days before the marionette cardiologist Dr. Treacy

I agree that the fillers lift the sides of the mouth. That's one of the worst things about ageing - the tendency to look 'sad' even when we're not. The fillers take away that Pierrot look.

I agree, it was impossible to see the nasolabial line difference in that shot. But that's live television. That lovely patient is now working with the mountain gorillas in a sanctuary Africa
