in response, I would be inclined to avoid warping altogether when trying to phase invert, as introducing Live's warping algorithm would introduce many many discrepancies between the two files. Live uses "smart" algorithms that warp based on content. in this case it would see different source audio and therefore apply a distinct warp on each clip, allowing even less for the phase invert to cancel out.

@ryandmca hehehe And yes I agree with you 100% on that. I'm in some trouble with my attempts though because for some reason my instrumental is slightly slower than the album version. I think it's because they're from the 90's and may have been converted from Vinyl, don't really know what to do...
