Incredible, I have to say at a young age especially it is very easy to fall into these traps.

What seems to be happening in the case of mistrust of science, is that science is often considered in the public eye to be part of the establishment. Thus, mistrust of private corporations and the state (wich I politically do very much share) can easely turn into mistrust of science as well. This is especially evident in the case of the immunisation programme. People mistrust the state, and therefore mistrust it's vaccination programmes. Wich, endorsed by science, also makes science suspect.
