I got my black headed caique for $300 from the drummer of the band emery and his wife (I know it sounds crazy)
I got my African Grey for $300 from a friend
and I got my blue and gold macaw for free from a friend.

@baskyn544 Caiques range from low to high prices. You were lucky to find a previous owner wanting to get rid of his Caique. When you try to find a young one, then you start getting in the $700 range or higher.

Depends on the area you live in or buy them in. There is a good breeder in Florida where you can get them around $750 or so. Some places sell them as much as $1,000.00.
