I noticed you license plate was Canadian. I'm very jealous right now. I currently live in Germany, about to move back to the States in a few months. This was exactly the bike I was trying to take back with me, but was told I'm not allowed to bring it to the States. I'm about to go test ride one anyhow, and try to find some loop hole that allows me to bring it back to the States.

@cornwallalum Hey! I hope you can get it back somehow! That would be pretty damn cool, but it will probably be more trouble than it's worth to be honest with you. You could have a look on the i-bmw forums and see if there is a way? Not sure if anyone has actually done it yet though. Good luck! She's a beauty and a pleasure to own :)

hey man absolutely beautiful machine... must be amazing between the legs... how big and tall do ya have to be in your opinion to be able to handle this bike? is it pretty heavy?

It's a very heavy bike with lots of horsepower and torque so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as a first/learner bike. It's actually 245kg. In terms of height, I'm 6'3" so it suits me nicely cause it's a very long bike as well. I wouldn't limit this bike to someones height, but within reason of course.

I have the 2010 in orange. I noticed that your speedometer reads ~ 3 km/h at standstil, so does mine. Besides that, a dream machine, total rocket, handles beautifully! Quite a looker, too. I can't stop anywhere without people coming up to me wanting to talk about my bike.
