I just swore in today and I leave 2012 07 30 for BCT in South Carolina, then AIT in AZ and Airborne in Georgia. If this is what I have looking forward to, wow .... This is gonna be a blast. My MOS is UAV Operator. 15W

@MccloskeyBros Your recruiter can hook you up with an Airborne contract so you go to airborne school shortly after basic/AIT

@TheConnoe Become an officer, then volunteer for airborne school. You may get slotted to an Airborne division.

one of my friends who was in the airborne told me that while he was in jump school, the parachute of his friend didn't open when they jumped out of the plane. poor bastard fell straight to the ground
