Corruption been present for ages now, it's hella bad

But I refuse to sell my soul just to get some fame
One thing...leads to another, it's a twisted chain
I miss the days, of bumping beats till I'm sick and dazed
Rhyming for fun with no concern about the $hit you say

I don't need to impress all of you critics
The game's shallow, but you still find it hard when you're swimming
I guess its..part of the business to depart from cognition
Chasing the charts and the riches is not the smartest addiction

..Look, of course I'd like to get noticed
But I don't have to generate hype and commotion
Cuz I reach the height of emotion when im writing n zoning
I get immersed in my craft, take flight and im golden

I get enjoyment and that's the greatest appeal
The haters are still hating cuz they hate that I'm real
I don't reject the possibility of making a deal
With a record label for 7-figure paper, but still..

..I don't measure successes fiscally
Rejecting infamy, I do my best instinctively and let the rest be history
Most of you just sicken me..
So I guess whats left...is a reflection of whats right..like symmetry
