Jody's hang gliding scooter-tow accident

Pilot Jody crashes after a scooter-towed (with turnaround pulley) training flight. Did not release from tow line before turning downwind. Plenty of injuries sustained.

This video shows a very good, long flight under tow utilizing the scooter tow stationary winch system. For some reason, I failed to release from tow, made a 180 degree turn, and attempted to land downwind. If I would have disconnected at ANY time during this flight, all of my injuries and damage to the glider would have been spared. Unfortunately - because of the whack on my head, I have no idea why I didn't disconnect.
