Does this also mean that the distance between front and rear wheels (wheelbase) is 5 cm (2 inch) bigger on right side than the left?! Because this would mean that the "car" handles/behaves differently in right and left corners! Please tell me this is not true. Unbelievable! Please explain to me how can Renault call themselves a "car maker"? How can they call this a car? Worst of all, Renault 4 is the best selling French car of all time that has been in production for 32 years! I understand now the notoriously bad handling of this car. If this were such a good idea, I'm sure many other car makers would adopt it but they didn't! Is this really the best French can offer? I suppose it is since they haven't improved much since R4 - the most powerful French car of all time is a Clio and currently the most expensive French car is a Citroen C5! I like French cheese but certainly not cars!

Stupid idiot.... learn some mechanical engineering before posting silly videos...

Renault 4 rear suspension has parallell torsion bars.. this means different distance between front wheel and rear wheel on left and right side...

  • So you're the guy who's been going around measuring all those R4s! I knew you had some nefarious purpose with that ruler of yours!

  • If you think thats funny then rover 800 has different length on the whole one side of the car than the other with pannel gaps so big you can get inside the car with out opening the door

rover sd1 was much the same

  • DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO. It's just some sad man with no life.

  • You are clearly an idiot with nothing better to do. The Renault 4 was a brilliant little car that served its purpose. It was designed to be cheap and functional. It allowed a whole generation of people to own a car, when many other cars of the time were a lot more expensive and not as good value for money. Nobody ever claimed that the Renault 4 was a luxury car or a sports car. The difference in wheel base was to do with the independent suspension and the handling was not affected. Utter moron.

  • toooo matoriiiii objasni idiotu!

  • wait, the left back door is bigger then?

  • Whoever made this video is a retard. -.-
