Over the past few weeks, I've been seeing a lot of videos about presidential candidates. Ron Paul's videos are the only ones that seem interesting.

Umm, we are talking about saving lives, nutjob. You must be taking about the media's stereotypes.

the fact that ron paul is a christian seriously compromises himself. Ayn rand was a devote atheist and pro choice. Ron might change a few things on the economy but not do much in the way of how government forces its christian morality onto others.

@democratsaresmart Your ad hominem remarks make you look like a YouTube troll, and I'm a real American the type that the "Founding Fathers" would have called a friend. I'm the type that actually stands for my beliefs and for reason, and if I should have to take up arms for a cause I believe in I will, but I don't believe in occupying other peoples' lands or attacking people on YouTube rather than debating their beliefs if I disagree.

@MrObenauer UR NOT AMERICAN , I DONT CARE ABOUT UR OPINON, USA WILL NEVER BE A PUSSY COUNTRY. AS A STRAIGHT MEN U SHOULD WRITE ONE COMMENT U WRITE LIKE A PUSSY 3 COMMENTS, HOW LOW IS UR TESTOSTERONE?

@democratsaresmart Also, wars only destroy, real economic growth cannot come from the broken window fallacy. If you are destroying things to boost GDP then you are actually slowing real growth (i.e. broken window fallacy follows money spent on a broken window, but what if the window remained and that money had been spent elsewhere?) I'm just speaking from a realistic point of view that bringing the troops home is a good thing because we'd be spending money on growth, not "problems."

@democratsaresmart You may also find that if you inform yourself on economics especially on Keynes vs. Hayek and what Milton Friedman advocated you'd understand that regulation is what destroyed the U.S. manufacturing sector. Also, you'll find that in the long run it's better to let things be rather than to control them, order doesn't have to be established it will spontaneously establish itself if allowed. I realize that social programs, etc. are well intentioned, but they have big consequences

@democratsaresmart Age is irrelevant, funds were meant to be irrelevant because George Washington wanted us to vote on people individually instead of people pushed by a greater party through financial support, Paul does have a strategy on how to create jobs, it's called decreased regulation and it will most likely result in an influx of manufacturing jobs, and no offense the Chinese are not Paul's major concern the people of the U.S. are.

HERE ARE REASONS WHY RON PAUL WILL NEVER BECOME US PRESIDENT;
1) AGE. (TOO OLD TO BE A PRESIDENT OF THE MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD)
2)DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS( SELLS HIS BOOK AND USES WORDS CONSTITUTION AND LIBERTY), THAT WILL NOT PUT FOOD ON A TABLE FOR AMERICAN PEOPLE
3)DOESNT HAVE A REAL STRATEGY ON EXACTLY HOW HE IS GOING TO CREATE JOBS(OK, LETS SAY WE WILL BRING ALL TROOPS HOME, THEN WHAT?) THEY ARE GOING TO BECOME UNEMPLOYED AND COLLECT WELFARE
4) UNDERESTIMATES CHINESE POPLN 1.4

RON PAUL's policies are GODLESS and he has said explicitly in response to a question asked during his YouTube interview that he thinks that states should be able to decide whether or not to legalize the violent murder of babies.
THIS IS GODLESS AND VILE AND YOU ARE AN EVIL PERSON IF YOU CLAIM THAT ANY LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE THE OPTION TO LEGALIZE THE MURDER OF ANY INNOCENT PERSONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ron Paul was a co-sponsor of the Human Life Amendment, a constitutional amendment that would have banned abortion in all 50 states.

So what!? Does taht somehow NEGATE the fact that Ron Paul thinks that individual states should have the leeway to legalize the killing of innocent babies? NO IT DOESN'T!
Read what he said in response to this question on abortion in a YouTube video. Ron Paul said the states should decide.
THAT IS VILE AND EVIL!!
Read it

Yes, it does negate your claim that the Congressman doesn't want to ban abortion nationwide.
But the Congressman wisely understands that a constitutional amendment is impossible. He knows because he tried it, unlike the other candidates. So he resorts to Plan B, reversing Roe v. Wade.

What about a compromise? Let the baby be born first. Then the mother can choose to keep it or abort it.
(No, I'm not serious.)

So if Ron Paul were elected president, and Ohio decided to kill 15 year olds to harvest their kidneys, Ron Paul would stay out of it bc it's a state's issue?
The President has no jurisdiction over the constitution? He makes no sense.
Theclockstrikes 4 years ago
You have so little faith in the states. The state legislatures are MORE responsive to the concerns of the people.
If Congress decided that states must kill 15-year olds to harvest their kidneys, you'd be OK with that?
The President has no jurisdiction OVER the Constitution. The President has jurisdiction UNDER the Constitution.
Besides, Ron Paul wants to return the issue to the states, at a minimum. He never said he opposed a federal solution (so long as it's constitutional).
