  • this is some bullshit! why all of the sudden, the hawaiians using the samoan tools. soo damn fake dis guy. alaniho is just a generic samoan pe'a. samoans made up the damn tattooin game. dis is a samoan tradition.

  • He was trained by the Su'a Sulape in Samoa and given permission to use the tools.

  • I'm Samoan and it's embarassing when other Samoans start making these patronizing claims, as if we're better than anyone because we have strong tattooing history. I'm proud of the Hawaiians reviving this part of their culture, and to the Samoans who are so prideful that they create divisions among our closest kin, grow the hell up.

  • thats the problem today with people, no respect for nothing,we respect all of our ohana(tahitian.samoan, tongan, fijian, maori, all

the same, some of my best friends are samoan,

they teach love, respect, family,to younger ones,to bring the culture forward instead of backward,we are very greatful for are samoan ohana, much respect--mahalo

  • @n0akubirds watch your dirty mouth fool! dont be saying shit like dat about an entire culture; "fuck samoans", you'll get your ass beat up off your own island.. not all samoans are prideful a shit bruh, only a few..so dont be hatin' all of us because of a couple ignorants. ONE.

  • I would hope that idub42 has grown some since his original comment. Nothing but respect for Keone and all those getting work done for the right reasons, and in the right way.

  • @idub42 do your home work brah and chill.

  • this took me back a while. haha

  • @kaiwhatu kia ora

  • Don't worry about that fake fat samoan net banger "idub42" thinking he's better than any other Polynesian just because he's "samoan". Hawaiians have every right to revive their tattooing heritage just as much as any other Polynesian. It's not just for Samoans only. Stay ready my Hawaiian cousins and don't let anyone get you down. Aroha Nui.

  • I meant to say ", etc." after listing Samoa and the other places. I want to include all of Polynesia.

  • @idub42 We Polynesians are all interconnected. Much of what Hawaii appreciates traditionally has come from Samoa, Tahiti, and Aotearoa and the same could be said for those cultures as well. Let's not play the "who did it first" game. This is about preserving Polynesian culture; it's not about having a pissing contest.

  • Thank you for being Maoli. The future ones now see...

  • @idub42 Any historical facts Samoans "made up the damn tattooin game" and alaniho is not a generic pe'a, watch your lip
