high from the mast,
I muse of a past,
deep under shore,
a life untold,
a life swallowed whole.

I never knew,
my end would come so soon.
and never knew,
death brings dreams of you,
and then: red seas.

horror behold!
I shout down below.
my only thought:
your pale photograph,
to look one last time.

six ships gather- in the distance, they circle- and will my fate...
