SSU Virtual Design Lab, Quick Tour 2.mov

This video is about the color theory section comprising the second floor of the Shawnee State University Virtual Design Lab in Second Life. The lab is an immersive experience in the foundations of art with hundreds of web-linked examples and several drawing areas. The project was sponsored by a WIRED grant from the US Dept. of Labor exploring training and education in interactive digital technologies. It is an interactive experience in color theory in the physiological, psychological, physical, perceptual realms. It covers additive and subtractive color, color in print, pixels and more. Enjoy a trip through the color tunnel where you experience changes in value and saturation or an animated room-sized florescent tube.
