nice review. another thing to think about is, how much stuff is one really going to plug in while "on the go" or say in class. in my opinion. one USB is enough. and 2 would've probably been perfect. the optical drive is no big trade off for me. thats irrelavent when one is taking class notes or doing some other type of document work or listening to music(even if i needed it, there's Remote Disc), but not having a removable battery may be a big problem for most people
