My cat did not like this as well... but when I changed the angle - I turned my hand palm up and came from down to scratch her on chest or jaw... she loved it. Anybody knows why they feel threathened by high arm, but not threathen wit the same arm coming from down below?

My cat does this and I dont abuse him, i love cats. He loves me very much too but a hand in that angle at that height makes them play but in an aggressive way. I dont expect people who dont have a cat to understand what i mean by that because generally playing with a cat means running after a peice of string.

Think of it this way, if you know anything about cats then you know that if that cat felt any real threat, then he would have tried to rip the guy's hand apart.
