teaches command prompt tricks, on vista you need to right click the cmd and click run as administrator. For vista, google enable telnet, then try this.

the commands are,
chkdsk-to check the disk
chkdsk /(partition)- to check a part of the drive
net user (account (password) /add -to add accounts
net user (account) /delete -to delete accounts
telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl -to show star wars

  • Hi I have a problem on my hard drive and I need to get access to the folders I want. Can I use the cmd prompt to access my folders? please help

  • Not sure if you solved you problem, but the dir command displays folders.

  • star wars does work on vista!!! all you have to do is go to start, control panel, programs click turn on/off windows features, then go down and check telnet client and ur set! then just enter the blinken lights thing. have fun!

  • it does work on vista...Control Panel>Programs>windows feature on off=list go down and see Telnet client and telnet service.
