It's rather sad that the World Cup Trophy is coming to Kenya while the national team has failed to qualify for the World Cup. Those were the sentiments of Soccer Legend Joe Kadenge. Kadenge said the arrival of the trophy is a major milestone in Kenyan soccer, and it would have been nice if the Stars had been in the running to qualify for South Africa next year to put the icing on the cake. The FIFA World Cup trophy arrives on Thursday.

  • this pple only favor players that are rich or there parents highly respected and work for the government loll and if u go to the streets of Nairobi Eldoret, Kisumu, Mombasa and etc come on u will find a better players than the once play for the national team of Kenya "Harambee Stars" . Especially high school teams they play better than national team

  • Kenya needs good leadership and not politics, since when politicians are involved in soccer???? they just sit and enjoy all the cash in there pockets and getting fat. Sorry to say this but as a Kenyan born and raised there.....

  • Austin Oduor, ma' men. I will never forget Oduor and Sammy "Jogoo" Onyango..the two defence kingpin who held together Harambee Stars and Gor Mahi defence.

Those were the days when Kenya was really respected !!!!!

  • robert mambo, denis oliech and the rest, for how long are you going to admire the world cup in a kenyan stadíum?

  • harambee stars participating in world cup.....................dream, dream, dream. keep dreaming. kadenge should be one of the officials

  • coca cola marketing blitz continue by bringing a replica and saying its the real thing. too much money and resources being used for this useless fanfare.

  • Coke wants to show u suck as a soccer team and yu can only get to touch that trophy via their sponsorship!

Kadenge just said it: Fitina na Siasa! Bad for sports!
