Kennedy’s speech is specifically referring to the spread of communism. Hitler used the expression to mean the rise of fascism. Other people in this docudrama use the term to mean the fall of communism and still others are using it to discuss the alliances between states years after the fall of communism.

Quotes taken out of context and generalized statements thrown together with no real connections does not make a whole!
