Ajarn Thoy / Por Gae Ruesi - Hanuman Sak Yant (Part 1)

"Sak" means "to tap or tattoo" and "Yant" comes from the sanskrit work "yantra". Yantras are geometrical symbolic representations of the hindu gods. The essence of each god is believed to be contained within the geometric pattern of the yantra.

Ajarn Thoy is, among other things, a living medium who goes into trance and is inhabited by the 2000 year old spirit of a powerful Ruesi named Por Gae (represented by the golden mask covering his face). Because of the evidence pointing to the Ruesi Por Gae Tha Fai having played an important role in the creation of the "Pra Sum Gor Amulet, it is evident that Por Gae respected the Buddhist faith.
