Beginning with the Epiclesis, this is the consecration of the bread at wine at a Roman Catholic Mass in Latin in which these elements become the living Victim, Jesus Christ's own Body and Blood. This video is offered in reparation for all the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences by which the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus is offended.

  • @kiwichristian2009 matter and form. the wine will become His blood and the bread will be his body. The arsenic, will be arsenic. I'm sure i'm right, but check me. this is not a pro or con thing, it's just the philosophy behind it

  • Just prior to the consecration of the mass, if someone added arsenic to the elements of bread and wine, would the poison within those elements be changed and made harmless after the consecration was finished, and would the priest and the people now partake of these changed substances, if not why not?

  • @WeepingStellaMaris pro multis IS used in the Latin Novus Ordo, "for all" is a mistranslation into english.

  • @jbosco08 Not to mention, he shouldn't be facing the people and he's not even wearing the correct vestments and the altar is messed up and I'm sure he didn't say pro multis.

  • The bread has become the body of Christ and the wine has become the blood of Christ.

  • Congratulations! Is that the Master of Ceremonies to your left? Although a priest, should he be partaking in the consecration while performing such a role?

  • A belated congratulations, Father. I hear that using Latin in the liturgy is becoming more popular with semenarians and younger priests. Is this true in your experience so far?

  • To be a "liturgy critic" - the Priest disconnected his first two fingers after the consecration, terrible form, fingers should not be parted until after ablutions following distribution of the Eucharist.

Hope this slip was just a result of it being his first Mass...

  • congratulations!
